Prof. Watanabe visited PSI, Swiss
He had invited lecture about ASPIRE project.
We participated in EMRS2025, held from May 26th to 30th, 2025, and presented the results of the ASPIRE project.
Associate Professor Watanabe: Improvement of stability and activity of dye-sensitized photoelectrodes by ALD-supported films
Postdoctoral Researcher Shen Xiao Feng: Fabrication of photoanodes using PLD-NiO-supported dye-sensitized electrodes
Yamanaka (M2): Photocatalytic hydrogen peroxide synthesis using carbon nitride-like molecules
Fukuda (M1): Fabrication of photoanodes using triplet-sensitized dyes
2025/1/29
We held a joint ASPIRE meeting with Ishihara ASPIRE.

Please see JST- ASPIRE in detail.
2025/6/2-4
Associate Professor Watanabe visited the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland and discussed the ASPIRE project.
He gave a lecture on photofunctional electrodes related to the ASPIRE project.

20251/25-2/3
Professor Thomas Lippert of PSI (Co-PI) Switzerland visited us and gave a lecture on PLD technology and discussed the progress of ASPIRE.
2024/10.1-11.20
A doctoral student from PSI Switzerland will stay at the Watanabe Laboratory at Kyushu University as a visiting researcher. He will compare the functionalization of protective films by ALD deposition with PLD protective films.
2024/9/1-9/30
One master's student will be sent to Switzerland for one month. He will investigate the relationship between the stability of dye-sensitized anodes and water penetration using a spectroscopic device.
2024/6/6
Attended the ASPIRE kick-off meeting.
2024/2/1
The ASPIRE project has started.
This is an international exchange project with Professor Thomas Lippert of Paul Scherrer (PSI) Switzerland.
We will advance projects related to "International brain circulation on organic-inorganic composite interfaces for fast charge transport in photoelectrolysis device electrodes."
